Edgar Gael was my Great Grandfather’s (Robert Gael 1860-1951)brother. Rober worked on Souther Pacific Railroad for many years at Welton, Arizona. He homstedaed Welton, and built a Hotel in 1904. I have a two pic by Edgar Gael, one of thir Mother Fanny Carter Gael, another of an annoucement of one of Edgar’s children being born.
That is so amazing! What an amazing family line. If you have any interesting tidbits or photos you’d like to share, feel free to send them over! Do you by any chance know if Edgar designed the photo backs himself? I can’t believe you’re related to him- I find that strangely exciting. It’s like a link to history :)
I do have information about his Brother and Sister Robert Gael, and Alice Gael. Both moved to Tucson in 1800′s I have picture of Fanny Carter Gael and one of his children taken by Edger Gael. I can give you these, Also have pictures of Robert and Alice Gael. I don’t know if he designed the back or not.
