<p>This is probably my all-time favorite Sanborn Insurance Map. It&#8217;s volume 1 for Salt Lake City, Utah, issued in 1898. Isn&#8217;t it stunning!? This image is huge too, so click through it a couple of times to get the full size. I don&#8217;t know why, but the blog theme I&#8217;m using takes you to a page with a tiny thumbnail image when you first click on it here. You then have to click the thumbnail to go to the full size. Why? I have no idea. I need a new wordpress theme :/</p>
