I found this awesome German Advent calendar from a guest post Dave Cuzner from Grain Edit did for Design Sponge a few years ago (so it’s even more vintage now!). There’s no date listed, but I assume it’s from around the 1950s or 60s. You can see the full post here. When you open each day’s paper door, there’s a fun little illustration inside. According to Dave, they’re “influenced by German Folk Art and Polish Wycinanki style paper cutting.”
