Via The Art of the Luggage Label on Flickr- you should check out their collection- it’s massive. They have somehow tracked down labels from literally every place and time. It’s pretty impressive.

I’m looking to start a travel company, I know, how original, but for me, like most images i my mind, the retro designs are so classy, Would you be oppsed to me linking my travel website to your design website, and possibly even featuring some of your images on my site? I’m new at this and don’t know how this works as far as image ownership and licensing, so before I start irritating people around the world, thought I’d at least ask first. Just another fat, dumb American, and proud of it. I do love your site by the way. If nothing else cool to see the artwork. Thanks, Tony Rizzo
Aw, don’t be so hard on yourself! Hey, I started a soap company, and I’m pretty sure you’ve seen a bar or two already on the market ;) I read a quote a while back that really resonated with me. “It’s not about being first, it’s about being the first to do it right.” Feel free to use any images you like, just link back. I have sections on this site that has images that are open to public use, and there’s also all of the downloads from my collection that are available for use however you like (just not re-selling). Just be sure if you use an image that you check on the rights. If you have any questions, shoot me an email!
