I am especially in love with the first image- the faded colors and illustration are stunning. The last image is a really nice way to showcase multiple images and make them feel unified, filling the space nicely. There’s something about vintage woodcut illustrations that are just so elegant feeling. Definitely good inspiration for luxury food packaging! Image sources are inside the post.

These are a lovely cross section! I’m both an avid gardener and a designer/developer/artist/blogger (and more, of course, why limit ourselves, right?) and I have to say that vintage seed catalogs are one of my favorite old advertising categories. The colors and typography are truly stunning! I wish we all spent such time and effort in everything, no matter how mundane, today! Thanks for these, I really enjoyed them! Sarah

Well then you’ll be happy to know I have more lined up for future posts : ) I had to space them out so people didn’t think it was a gardening blog!
