I love these vintage Butterfly Brand labels. They’re from the 1880s and have a very distinct style. These particular ones are actually up for sale on Etsy for very reasonable prices. Buy the Pumpkin one here, and the Bean one here.

John Whiting’s Brushes Ad, ca 1880
This trade card (ca 1880s) is advertising John L. Whiting & Son, a brush-making company that made brushes from fine artists brushes to brooms and shaving brushes. They were unique in their advertising by marketing towards both black and white business owners, something that was very uncommon for the 1800s.

These gorgeous pages are all from the French book, Album du peintre en batiment, published in 1882. Needless to say, I went crazy like a cat in a pile of catnip.
