If you haven’t kept up with video games, you may not know that many of them can truly be art-forms. Some of them have wonderfully elaborate story lines or ways in which to interact with the world–others have an amazing attention to detail and fantastic art direction. Since games cover the gamut in terms of what they’re about and what they can be about–there are a ton now with vintage elements.
One of those games, Bioshock Infinite (by Irrational Games), was released earlier this year to critical praise. Not only is the art direction pretty stunning, the world is crafted with so many details and signs inspired by early 20th century America. Shown above are a few in-game propaganda posters and a piece of concept art from the game.
